Celebrating International Women’s Day!

Happy International WOMEN’S Day! What a wonderful gift it is to be a woman! So wonderful in fact that an entire month is dedicated to Women's History. Speaking of history, the jewelry industry is historically known for its white, male dominance. As a female-owned and operated business, we love that we are a small, mighty, and pink AF shop that shakes that up a bit.

Our owner & founder, Angela Monaco, is a jewelry designer who wanted a space to celebrate not only her creations, but other females’ work too. 89% of the brands we carry are female-owned. Not only is our staff full of fantastic women, but so are the makers we promote.

The merchandise we carry is thoughtfully chosen to reflect what we cherish: things made by hand with love, slowly and sustainably. When you buy something at Ritual, you’ll find a story behind each piece; whether it's crafted by a kick-ass chick from Philly who salvages scientific waste to make dreamy jewelry (pure genius btw), or a gal that hand-forages flowers to lovingly wrap them in your sacred sage and palo santo smoke baths. Our 80+ all have a unique story to tell and we love sharing them.

While empowering females is a priority of ours, so is amplifying the voices that don’t feel heard due to the unfortunate injustices that exist in our country and world. At Ritual, we are compelled to support the BIPOC community. We do and will continue to strive to carry more and more products by BIPOC creators and are always seeking to diversify our staff.  We want every single person that walks through our doors to feel comforted and welcomed, and walk out feeling inspired and renewed.

Women are known for their innate abilities to nurture, comfort, and love tremendously. We believe that’s a big reason why Ritual Shoppe is as unique as it is. It’s the women that work here, the women that shop here, and even the fellow female business owners throughout our city that help build into us, fill us with freaking ZEST, and allow us to feel so blessed to have this place called Ritual Shoppe.

We hope all you ladies out there feel empowered today. This day is for you! This month is for you! And each day we are granted beyond that is an opportunity to exude our womanly energy with all the confidence in the world.
