Crown Jewel Esthetics, located in Rittenhouse, by Jewellee Williams is thee place for self-care. Each facial is catered to your needs specifically. Here, you are truly pampered. We can’t recommend this spa enough! We even featured Jewellee in one of our Community Spotlight’s a few months back. You can read more on Jewellee and her spa here.
Alchemy Coffee is a little bright light in our neighborhood! Right around the corner from Ritual, we are tempted on a daily basis with their incredible pastries, their HOUSE-made oat milk, and their mint syrup that levels up any latte. And if you need a coffee without the jitters, have them add a little CBD simple syrup in your cup, instead. Step inside for an immediate mood booster & caffeine high.
Harriett's Bookshop, named for historical heroine Harriett Tubman, celebrates women authors, women artists, and women activists. Owner, Jeannine A. Cook is an educator and writer herself! Her beautiful bookstore in Fishtown is filled to the brim with powerful reads. Many refer to it as a “literary sanctuary.” We are so glad Philly has a place like this.
Freedom Apothecary, founded by duo Morrisa Jenkins & Bonkosi Horn, is a clean-beauty and skincare lover’s haven. Stop by this expertly curated apothecary for natural & luxurious products from highly sought-after brands & lesser-known, (but equally as deserving), brands too. And did we mention they offer holistic facial treatments? For all our beauty bebes out there, this one is a no brainer!
Oh, Yowie! As they like to put it, they are “a lot of things,” but mostly a lifestyle shop and sometimes a design studio. And with every product drop, they always make our hearts pitter patter. This tiny but mighty spot on South Street is curated to perfection. We’ve scored our favorite coffee table books, and our sexiest bottles of olive oil all at this one spot. Philly Mag just crowned Yowie owner, Shannon Maldonado, “The Queen of South Street” if that says anything about how special this place is!
